Bryan has been intimately involved with Asterisk and FreePBX since 2007. As VP of Software Engineering at Sangoma Technologies, he oversees all aspects of the FreePBX project as well as Sangoma’s full suite of UC and Cloud Strategies. As a true technologist at heart, he continues to regularly develop for FreePBX in addition to his leadership responsibilities. He was a co-founder of Schmooze Com, Inc. prior to its merger with Sangoma where he spearheaded the efforts to make security a key focus and made the FreePBX Distro the most secure open source Asterisk distribution available. He led many other projects while at Schmooze some of which make up the hidden backend management and distribution systems that flawlessly support the millions of FreePBX installs out in the world today. He has a BS in Information Technology/Software Engineering and an AS in Business Administration.
