John Amein is the President since January 2016 of Voice Biometrics Group, a developer of voice authentication software and solutions, and CEO of a consulting and mobile software development startup, Productivity Labs. He serves on the Strategic Advisory Board for North Carolina State University's Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. John has more than 30 years of telecommunications experience in the US and Europe, specializing in call center on-premise and cloud solutions, interactive voice response (IVR), and mobile web application development. From 2013 to 2015 John served as Vice President for Product Management at Aspect Software, a $450M multinational enterprise contact center company, where he led global planning for the Aspect product suite across Interaction Management, Workforce Optimization, Cloud and Back Office Optimization verticals. He previously spent seven years as a Senior Vice President at Voxeo Corporation prior to its acquisition by Aspect, where he variously oversaw Strategic Partnerships, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Product Management. Prior to Voxeo, Mr. Amein founded VoiceReady LLC, later sold to Voxeo, and served as CEO of NetByTel, Inc., a hosted IVR system that specialized in sophisticated speech recognition user interfaces. Mr. Amein worked in sales and marketing leadership positions at Dialogic Corporation from 1990 to 2003, including three years as part of Intel Corporation before assuming the CEO role at NetByTel. Mr. Amein has a MSEE from Stanford University and a BSEE from North Carolina State University.
