James Body is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Telet Research, a Northern Ireland based company specialising in engineering of novel and innovation mobile network infrastructure and has spent the last 30+ years building a wide range of fixed and mobile communications systems. He is currently involved in the production of a UK Government funded solution to solve coverage issues in Rural areas with no coverage (known as 'Not-Spots').
This project uses latest generation software defined radios (SDR) with embedded Evolved Packet Core (EPC) to provide very high quality 4G coverage utilizing Multi Operator Neutral Host (MONeH) techniques. The EPC platform is also capable of running a diversity of local network-based applications to offer the owner a range of value added services.
Telet Research also provide multi-identity SIMs running custom USIM code and capable of operation with multiple sets of cryptographic material.
Prior to setting up Telet Research, James ran the Network Design, Research & Development and Innovation Teams at International Mobile Network operator,Truphone.
He is an accomplished, articulate and highly energetic speaker and is well known within the the European and US Telecommunications Marketplaces.
A firm believer in the power of live presentations, he will often illustrate his sessions with live examples of technology, earning himself the title of 'King of the Dangerous Demo'
