He joined the Communication Systems group of CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research) IT department in 2013, is engaged in design, development, and maintenance of next-generation telephony system for the organization, which involve many well known open source projects, in order to allow the flexibility and provide the privacy required nowadays for real-time communications. Previously, he worked as a core network engineer for Huawei and Telefonica International Wholesale Services, among other Spanish operators. He has a Master degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Valladolid.
