Now that we’ve learned about Kubernetes basics, we can start looking at how to automate our deployments using a DevOps tool called Ansible. With Ansible Playbook Bundles (APB), the deployment of containers is simplified by using the power of Ansible to build your infrastructure on OpenShift. We’ll explore how to spin up OpenShift OKD using virtual machines, how to get our APB development environment setup and connected to the OpenShift registry. Next we’ll take a gander at a simple Ansible playbook that will start an Asterisk instance from the OpenShift web interface.
